The pin placement can dictate your approach to this hole. If the pin is on the right hand side of the green a good drive will leave a smooth wedge into the widest part of the green, or a flick for the bigger hitters, or maybe even drive the green. If the pin is located to the left or behind the pin the landing area is very small and your approach shot may have to come in over the bunker at the front.
