How to join Sandhill Golf Club
Sandhill Golf Club prides itself on being a golf club for everyone, the only joining process is downloading our membership application form below and returning it to our club shop.
If you are considering joining us then look forward to a warm welcoming by the owners, staff and members, all of which will go out of their way to make you feel at home and integrate with the club. If you are wanting competitive golf weekly competitions are available to enter, along with prestige’s competitions such as the club championship. But if you just want the social benefits of being a member all competitions are optional. We have greatly run sections such as the Rabbit and Senior sections that meet up every week and participate in inter club competitions. This is a great way to play with new people, make new friends and play other courses at a discounted rate.
Sandhill Golf Club is a family run business and family play a big part in the club. Members are encouraged to bring family along to events such as the Captains Day and regular race nights. Moreover, we have events such as Around the World where we encourage members to bring non golfers along to play, all for fun and a great party afterwards.
The junior section is thriving this year with 13 new members. Sandhill Golf Club wants to encourage the future of the sport and organizes coaching sessions and weekly competitions for juniors. Mums and Dads are all welcome to join their children around the course while they play and master their golfing prowess. So if you are under the age of 18 and thinking of taking up golf please get in touch.
Membership Fees
All new memberships are subject to availability therefore a waiting list may apply.
Each new member is required to pay an additional joining fee of £100.
Membership runs from 1st March annually

Members Information
Sandhill Golf Club is a very social golf club and we have a number of active Sections that new and existing members can join. If you want to meet new people whilst enjoying a game of golf then maybe one of the sections listed below will suit you.
Senior Section
The Senior section is for Sandhill Golf Club members (male & female) of all standards, aged 55 and over who hold a WHS handicap index.
There is a nominal section membership fee to join our club.
The Seniors have a full summer season of trophy competitions which are run on a Thursday morning.
The section also run inter-club team matches against other Clubs throughout the summer plus a Tuesday ‘ashtray’
and games against the Ladies Section.
Ladies Section
The Ladies Section is for Sandhill Golf Club lady members of any age and ability and is free to join.
The Section holds regular competitions throughout the summer on Tuesday evenings and Saturdays as well as inter club friendlies and inter section competitions. It is a social section which regularly has away days and overnight golf breaks.
Tigers Section
The Tigers Section is free to join and holds regular competitions, normally on Wednesday.
The inter club 16 – 18 League is run by the Tigers Section and is available for anyone wanting to play matches.
Rabbits Section
The Rabbits Section is free to join and open to all gentleman members aged 18 and over with a WHS handicap index of 15 or more.
The Section holds competitions on Tuesday and Thursdays – or you can just come along and play social golf. Inter club friendlies (normally held on Thursdays) are available throughout the season.
